Environment Restoration Fund – Safe Havens Grants

Funder:  Federal – Agriculture

Grant Background: The Environment Restoration Fund supports the creation of safe havens for threatened species. Safe havens are areas where invasive predators such as feral cats and foxes have been permanently removed from fenced areas and islands to provide long term protection for native wildlife.

The objective of this program is to reduce extinction risk to nationally listed threatened species through strategic expansion of the safe haven network.

The grant amount will be up to 100% of eligible project expenditure.

Indigenous Fire and Land Management Workshops

Funder:  Federal – Agriculture

Grant Background: This program is part of the Australian Government’s $200 million investment in bushfire recovery for native plants, animals, ecological communities and natural assets. This funding aims to support the recovery and long-term resilience of wildlife and their habitat.

The objective of this grant opportunity is to support Indigenous organisations, Indigenous businesses and Traditional Owners to lead workshops aimed at sharing and strengthening knowledge of Indigenous fire and land management practices.
