Amazon Launchpad Innovation Grants

Grant Background: Amazon Australia presents Amazon Launchpad Innovation Grants, an initiative to recognise innovation by Australian start-ups, entrepreneurs and SMBs. Five grant packages will be awarded.

 The Amazon Launchpad Innovation Grants include:

  • An exclusive Amazon SMB experience– Exclusive access to Amazon leadership from Australia and HQ in Seattle, access to Amazon’s start-up and entrepreneur experts, time with successful e-commerce savvy Australian SMBs, insights from angel investors in the Venture Capital community, and exclusive networking opportunities
  • Amazon Advertising display credits– to promote the winning product on Amazon.com.au
  • Credits through the AWS Activate program- which also provides access to technical support and training to help founders grow their business
  • Seller Spotlight feature placement– on the Amazon Launchpad Homepage

All you need to do is answer the question, “Share what makes your product innovative and/or how you’re being innovative at this time?”

Boosting Female Founders Initiative

Grant Background: The Boosting Female Founders Initiative program will provide targeted support on a co-contribution basis to female founders of startup businesses to launch and scale their businesses into domestic and global markets.

The objectives of the program are to:

  • stimulate private sector investments into innovative startups led by women
  • help female entrepreneurs overcome the disadvantages they face in getting access to finance and support to grow their startups
  • enable female founders to scale-up, expand into domestic and global markets, and become self-sufficient
  • boost the economy through increasing the diversity of startup founders.

The intended outcomes of the program are:

  • increased number of startups founded by women
  • new products and services are brought to market by startups founded by women
  • increased financial investment in startups founded by women
  • women improve their earning potential through entrepreneurship
  • increased job creation and economic growth.
