Bushfire Recovery for Wildlife and Habitat Community Grants Program

Funder:  Federal – Agriculture

Grant Background: The Bushfire Recovery for Wildlife and Habitat Community Grants Program aims to encourage recovery efforts in areas affected by the 2019-20 bushfires by:

  • supporting recovery of native flora and fauna
  • involving local communities, community groups and Traditional Owners, in delivering bushfire recovery activities for native flora and fauna.

The program is confined to bushfire-affected areas within the eastern and southern part of Australia affected by the 2019-20 bushfires, or adjacent to an affected area.

Weeds In Bushfire Recovery

Funder:  NSW – Central Tablelands Local Land Services

Grant Background: The Weeds in Bushfire Recovery project provides on-ground incentives to private and public landholders in areas within the Central Tablelands impacted by the 2019 – 2020 bushfires for the mitigation and control of weeds.

Central Tablelands landholders can apply for financial support for work involving both environmental weeds and/or weeds in production areas such as pastures.

All proposed works need to demonstrate a strategic or targeted approach that contributes to weed management and control in the longer term.
