Grant Background: Grants of up to $3 000 are available for community groups or organisations that demonstrate they are addressing the relief of social and economic distress, and geographical disadvantage, through locally led action.
Applications that assist people and communities to address disadvantage and inequality through embracing the potential of local women to develop skills, confidence, capacities and leadership between generations and within their communities, are encouraged.

Eligibility:
- applications from community organisations, community groups and not-for-profits
- projects need to demonstrate that they are addressing economic distress and geographical disadvantage, through locally led action
- organisations applying must operate in at least one of these council areas:
- Balranald, Bland, Bogan, Bourke, and Brewarrina Shires and Broken Hill Region
- Carrathool, Central Darling, and Cobar Shires
- Forbes Shire
- Hay Shire
- Lachlan Shire
- Moree Plains and Murray Shires
- Narromine Shire
- Parkes Shire
- Wakool, Walgett, Warren and Wentworth Shires
