Covid-19 Community Boost Grant

Funder:  AMP

Grant Background: The AMP Foundation is offering $2 million in grants to help Australian non-profit organisations build their capacity to support and strengthen communities.

The COVID-19 Community Boost grants are designed to support Australian non-profit organisations  impacted by the pandemic – either through increased demand for their services or by having to adapt to delivering community support in the new operating environment.

Funding can be used for a range of COVID-19 response initiatives – including meeting increased demand for food and housing security, providing new approaches to health and wellbeing as well as alternative access to education, the arts and technology in these challenging times.

These capacity-building grants can help backfill volunteer roles with paid staff, upgrade technology to service new ways of working, provide staples to those not eligible for government support, and more.

$ Available: Up to $200 000.

Eligibility: To be eligible an organisation must:

  • be a non-profit with deductible gift recipient (DGR) status
  • have been operating for at least two years (since June 2018) and provide services in Australia
  • have an annual income (based on their latest audited report) of under $20 million
  • derive less than 70% of its annual income from government sources (local, state and federal)
