Regional Job Creation Fund

Funder:  NSW – Regional NSW

Grant Background: The Regional Job Creation Fund supports regional investment and job creation by offering up to $10 million in co-funding to activate or bring forward regional projects in engine, enabling or emerging engine industries. Examples of eligible projects could include the:

  • replacement, upgrade or adaptation of plant and equipment at an existing regional NSW business
  • establishment of an additional production line for an existing regional NSW business
  • onshoring of activity currently done overseas to a regional NSW location
  • development of new regional tourism experiences and visitor attractions
  • relocation of a business operation from out of state to regional NSW.

The Regional Job Creation Fund’s focus is to co-fund projects creating at least five sustainable regional jobs.

Community Building Partnerships Grant

Funder:  NSW Government

Grant Background: The NSW Government is investing in infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes while promoting community participation, inclusion and cohesion.

In 2019, there is a maximum of $300,000 to allocate in each electorate. Projects with contributions from their own or other sources will be considered favourably.

Eligible projects will be assessed against four equally weighted program criteria:

  1. Enhancing facilities— the project develops a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive community through the enhancement or construction of community infrastructure.
  2. Meeting community needs— the project supports activities and services needed by local communities.
  3. Increasing community participation— the project encourages participation in activities or services needed by a broad section of the community.
  4. The organisation’s capacity— the applicant has the capacity to deliver the project on time and within scope.
